About the karts:
“ It was a very fun activity to do and it was worth the money, I would definitely would do it again! I would however recommend thick clothing to avoid potential bumps & bruises from bumping around in the go-kart - nothing too major though, and again very fun.

3 months agoGreat experience if you're looking for a quick hit of adrenalin after a day at the beach. Staff are super helpful and make sure the path from checking in to getting in the karts seamless. The carts are in good condition and fast enough, would be better if they had some form of a timer on the track for those who are a bit more competitive. Great seating area above the track with a marvellous view for post track relaxation. Would recommend for a good time young and old!
3 years agoLove it here. Such a fun place to go with my family. Would definitely do it again. We love the adrenaline chasing each other around the track! The additional 10 minutes was greatly appreciated. We just wish the time did not go so fast! By then time flys when you're having fun!
5 years agoGreat Go-Karting track. This is only the 2nd time I have been go-karting, and it was great fun again. The track was decent length, with plenty of twists and turns. The only suggestions I have are lap times: implement a way to provide lap times. This makes it more competitive. Overtaking: I found it hard overtaking sometimes. I had plenty of times I tried to get past someone, only for them to veer right in front of me causing me to have to slam brakes on to avoid smashing into them. The track is quite narrow, which makes overtaking difficult, and the karts have no brake lights. There was also a kid (probably 12) who was a nightmare for me to overtake due to him having no spacial awareness. Overall, great track and would certainly go back when I go to QLD again.
5 years agoAwesome venue! All areas were neat and tidy. Staff are very friendly nothing was to much trouble, easy parking. Great atmosphere. Think it's great that kids have their own track. Great value for money and I will definitely be back in the new year. Location is easy to find.
5 years agoI booked a deal on for Go Karting on the Sunshine Coast for my December trip. The deal is rather similar to what other websites are offering. The main thing if that Experience Oz offers promo codes that help to bring down the prices further which is the plus point.
5 years agoUnfortunately, my overall experience wasn't that great but I will be going back and trying again. We arrived excited to get on the track and have some fun. On arrival we stood at the counter for about 5 minutes before we were served, finally got some service that all went well ordered a coffee during service. After we finalised our orders got our tickets I had to wait for my coffee a big group of about 10 came in after us, still only 1 person serving and about 3 staff members walking around doing nothing (well not making my coffee) or serving the group. 10 minutes have passed still waiting on my coffee the group had finally been served and shock the one girl who served the group and us previously looks over and obviously has remembered I had ordered coffee so she starts to make it. Get my coffee and walk down to the pits read the rules etc. take my glasses off and put my hair net and helmet on, glasses don't go back on properly so there's another problem. It's wasn't the nicest of days with it raining all the karts want to do is spin out around corners. In the end, we only used 15 minutes of our 45 minutes.
6 years agoYou have to give this a go for a crackerjack of a time. If you have a need for speed, rip it up at this place. Friendly staff, challenging track, fun for all types.
7 years agoDriving a go-kart at fast speeds is certainly one way to get that wind in your hair (although I wouldn’t know as I was going so slow!) Despite being an unlicensed and very inexperienced driver I had a heap of fun driving a go-kart at Mooloolaba’s Big Kart Track. The track is fantastic and allows you to experiment with the kart and maybe lose control a few times just for the fun of it. This would definitely be a fun family day out… if you can coax mum into it!
